πŸ’™ RE-OPENING SAFELY AND RESPONSIBLY πŸ’™

Riva MEDSPA is excited to announce that we will
safely and responsibly re-open on Monday, May 11.

We have missed you and look forward to seeing you at Riva!
We wanted to make you aware of some protocols we have implemented at Riva MEDSPA to ensure a safe environment for all.

These protocols follow the suggested guidelines of social distancing and the
“I Protect You, You Protect Me” face covering CDC recommendation which will help prevent the spread of illness.

Your health and trust in us is our utmost priority. While our practice has always strictly adhered to all applicable guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, we have adopted rigorous cleaning and sanitation processes to disinfect our offices regularly and throughout the day. We also have new protocols for scheduling, as well as additional safety measures to decrease the risk of exposure to illness during your visit.

We are proud to open and serve our community, and we thank you for your patience through uncharted waters. We are working diligently to schedule cancelled and pre-booked appointments. In the meantime, if you would like to schedule an appointment or have any questions about what to expect once you arrive, please give us a call at 757-278-9888. We are here to answer any questions you may have.

Steps We Are Taking to Keep our Environment Safe:

As a medical practice in the state of Virginia, we are following strict protocols to keep our patients, employees and environment safe from the spread of illness.

  • We are operating by appointment only. Appointments are spaced at least 20 minutes apart so that interaction in the common areas will be avoided and to allow time for extra sanitation of treatment areas using hospital-grade disinfectant.

  • Patients and employees are screened upon arrival to determine the possibility of virus presence or exposure. Your temperature will be taken and you will be asked to respond to a few questions.

  • Face masks are mandatory for clients, so please wear one for your appointment. If you do not have one, you will be provided with one. Disposable gloves are available upon request.

  • Hand sanitizer is available throughout our facility and patients will be asked to wash or sanitize their hands upon arrival.

  • All staff are required to wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE). Our providers wear FDA approved N95 masks, gloves, gowns, and eye protection or face shields.

  • Chlorhexidine mouth wash is provided before any lower face treatment. Your skin is sanitized prior to any injectable, laser or full-face treatment with Hibiclens Antiseptic.

  • Our IV Lounge is limited to 2 patients at a time to accommodate social distancing. We are happy to provide your infusion in a private treatment room if you prefer.

  • Treatment areas are throughly sanitized after each patient appointment with hospital-grade disinfectant, as per CDC recommendations, with the addition of UV-C light air sanitation.

  • Common areas are kept de-cluttered, clean and disinfected, and items such as pens, clipboards, and flat surfaces are disinfected after any and each human contact.

  • Magazines, books, and promotional pamphlets have been removed from all areas of the practice. Pamphlets are available upon request.

  • Our Retail Product Bar includes display items only. Items for purchase are stored in a secluded, non-accessible area. If you wish to purchase products only, we ask that you call ahead and arrange a time to limit interaction with other clients. Our SkinMedica® and Alastin® products can also be purchased online with FREE SHIPPING at rivamedspa.com.

  • To help us adhere to social distancing guidelines, please arrive alone for your appointment unless you require assistance due to a disability or other legitimate reason.

  • If you arrive early for your appointment, please wait in your car until your scheduled time.

  • Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you are late, we may ask you to reschedule. Last minute cancellations incur a cancellation fee.
